On January 11 and 12, Chambéry hosted the French veterans bouldering championship. The competition was structured around eight qualifying blocks, followed by three blocks in the final.
At the end of the competition, Morgane Aveline (Mouste'Clip Montagne et Escalade) and Pascal Gagneux (SMUS Escalade) are crowned French champions. Catherine Russac (Club Escalade Saint Vulbas) and Jean-Baptiste Jourjon (Chambéry Escalade) are vice-champions of France. Audrey Fra (Moovclub) and Simon Haag (CAF Chalons en Champagne Compétition) complete the podium.
