Sublimate each person’s differences and heritage through dance, this is the mission that has given itself Maud Le Pladec through his show Silent Legacy. On stage, two soloists of different ages and backgrounds give us a dazzling performance of truth, gentleness and inspiration.
A captivating show that we discovered more than a year ago at the Carreau du Temple, before leaving for an international tour. The good news? You will have the chance to see this show one last time in this same room, next January 28 and 29.

She has choreographed the opening and closing ceremonies of the Olympic and Paralympic Games of Paris 2024, she is director of the CCN – Ballet de Lorraine and has a string of successes on the stages of the most beautiful halls in the world, Maud Le Pladec continues to convince us with each new creation. But this time, we wanted to talk to you about Silent Legacya dance nugget which ends his French tour at the end of January in Paris. With a soundtrack by DJ Chloé with very electro tunes, we discover two soloists who deconstruct social and choreographic norms, between sequences of krump proposed by an absolutely incredible 10-year-old girl, and contemporary dance with an equally incredible dancer.

A story of heritage in two dance solos
It is Adeline Kerry Cruz which opens the ball. Young krump prodigy at only 10 years oldshe lives and grows up in Montreal, far from the ghettos which saw the birth of this dance in the 2000s. Between a series of very rapid movements and intense facial expressions, the krump also expresses the rage linked to racial and social injustice that thespiritual aspiration of everyone. Accompanied by her mentor and krump pro Jr Maddripp, Adeline delivers an explosive and gripping show that we still remember a year later.
In the second part, the elegant Audrey Merilus executed contemporary choreography both soft and powerful, created this time with the dancer Saskia Chareyre. It highlights the personality and career of the performer whose technique is constantly being renewed.
Together, these two solos express the universality of dance and the sharing of inheritance to perfection. Go for it with your eyes closed!
