the essential
The fourth edition of the festival starts on Friday, while its off is already underway with concerts, exhibitions and original events around French song.
The eco-responsible and resolutely committed French-speaking song festival begins its fourth edition on January 17. In addition to its 14 planned concerts, its “off” version, already in progress, stands out as an unmissable event this week.

Among upcoming concerts, Tristan will play this Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Brasserie Le Mandarous. Wessno will perform on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Okfé, while on Saturday at 3 p.m., Cake Thé will host a show by Grégory Bernard. Finally, the Duo Caméléon will host a concert on January 22 at 7 p.m. at the Rouges de Causse.
The cultural component was also enriched with a unique exhibition “Vernis Disc” visible until January 25 at the Maison de la Région, Place de la Capelle. The artist Rénald Zapata exhibits 24 portraits painted on vinyl, exploring the significant eras of French song. Guided tours for schools are also planned.
Songs delivered to your home
The Uber Hits initiative, which allows songs to be delivered directly to your home, is making a comeback this year. With 90 slots available, this original musical experience offers spectators the opportunity to offer a private performance to a loved one. Reservations can be made online or at the theater, on market days, between 10:30 a.m. and 12 p.m.
If “les Givrées” is labeled “eco-festival”, it is also because its collective is committed. And here too, this new edition takes on a little more scale and targets level 3 of the Elémen'terre label, the highest. This year, seamstresses were commissioned to make “tote bags” with recycled materials.
