Mohamed Aujjar: “Despite 7 years of drought, the Executive remains resolutely committed to its reforms”

Despite the challenges linked to seven years of drought, the Executive remains resolutely committed to its multi-sectoral reforms. For Mohamed Aujjar, member of the political bureau of the Colombe party, the government highlights the importance of the transformation of Morocco into a social state, a project which is fully in line with the aspirations of King Mohammed VI and the values of a democratic and social party.

Morocco’s vision as a social state involves a sustainable approach that does not neglect rural areas and farmers, particularly affected by drought. The government must not only focus on economic development, but also on policies that guarantee the social well-being of all sections of the population. This could include support programs for farmers to help them cope with drought and diversify their sources of income.
