The Caliph of Ngodiba, a locality in the Kaffrine region (center), Cheikh Ibrahima Ba, called on citizens to better respect the authority of the President of the Republic in order to preserve the sacredness of the State.
“We invite the faithful to respect the authority of the President of the Republic more and to have more confidence in the government,” said the marabout, also representative of the religious family of Medina Baye, reports the Aps.
He spoke on Saturday during the official ceremony of the 68th edition of the annual Ziarra of Ngodiba, in the presence of the Secretary of State for Urban Planning and Housing, Momath Talla Ndao, the governor of the Kaffrine region, Moustapha Diaw, heads of state services and several faithful from different parts of the country.
The Caliph of Ngodiba also asked the populations to have the cult of work and to support the government in its project of systemic transformation of the country.
