The Oise and its affected tributaries
The meteorological institute explains that “the precipitation observed in recent days has caused the Oise river and its upstream tributaries to react. A first flood wave has spread over the entire section, generating overflows in the Condren and Sempigny sectors A second flood wave following Wednesday’s precipitation accentuated the rise in levels. It is currently in the Condren sector, and is causing a rise in levels in the area. the Sempigny sector.”
A “significant” flood was thus noted in the Condren sector, while a “risk of significant flooding” was announced in the Sempigny sector.
