RNI: Akhannouch announces an upcoming “communication tour”

The National Rally of Independents (RNI) intends to launch in the coming months a new communication tour in the different regions of Morocco “in order to continue to be faithful to its philosophy of proximity with its members and all citizens”, said affirmed, Saturday in Rabat, the president of the party, Aziz Akhannouch.

Speaking during the ordinary session of the National Council of the party, Mr. Akhannouch stressed that the RNI is betting on this process with a view to strengthening confidence in the political field and encouraging positive contribution to the implementation of ideas and proposals which will positively benefit the future of the Kingdom.

For Mr. Akhannouch, this ordinary session of the National Council is an annual democratic exercise, which draws its organizational importance from the fact that it is a framework which decides and directs political and partisan tasks and determines all choices and political responsibilities. He noted in this sense that this organizational step will give the party a renewed start, with a great sense of responsibility capable of allowing it to continue to fulfill its socio-political functions.

And to highlight the establishment of a “model organizational experience, based on the creation of 19 parallel organizations, an authentic Rnist approach, based on mutual trust between the national leadership, all the activists and the bases” . For the party president, the current session of the National Council will constitute “a major turning point in the functioning of the different organizations, hence the need for parallel organizations to increase the pace of their work”.

Also, Mr. Akhannouch recalled the context of holding this session which stands out for the “positive” results achieved by the government over the last three years and the “profound” transformations that have occurred in application of the Wise Royal Vision.

In this regard, he stressed that the government’s progress report is marked by “the achievement of profound reforms which have placed Morocco in an advanced position, through which we have been able to give our political commitments the economic and social dimension expected, and consolidate their spatial and societal integration.”

Likewise, the second half of the government mandate will be marked by strategic priorities, particularly those related to the water sector, he noted, adding that “we will continue to strengthen infrastructure by completing the construction of 15 large dams, accelerating the pace of the hydraulic basin connection program and implementing seawater desalination projects with a view to mobilizing 1.7 billion cubic meters on the horizon 2030, for a total cost of 18 billion dirhams.”

Concerning employment, Mr. Akhannouch indicated that the year 2025 will be decisive for the government’s orientation aimed at reducing the unemployment rate and providing employment opportunities to young people, as part of an integrated approach mobilizing an envelope budget of around 14 billion dirhams.

On the subject of the Moroccan Sahara, the President of the RNI praised the successes and achievements of national diplomacy under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, characterized in particular by a growing and large-scale international recognition of the sovereignty of the Kingdom over its Sahara.

After recalling the main developments of this issue, Mr. Akhannouch affirmed that the next phase requires more mobilization and vigilance to continue to strengthen Morocco’s position, promote the justice of its cause and counter the maneuvers of its adversaries, making observe that the RNI has activated the action plan of the training and advocacy commission in order to put all of its relationships at the service of the national cause.

On the social aspect, Mr. Akhannouch welcomed the visionary royal approach advocating the strengthening of the centrality of the family in the process of building modern Morocco, notably through the revision of the Family Code, which embodies High Solicitude. Royal towards the promotion of women and the family in general and the protection of the Moroccan family while guaranteeing its stability.
