During the dedication ceremony of the book “Youth Takes Power” by journalist Mame Birame Wathie, Ngagne Demba Touré made an interesting speech. The Director General of the Société des Mines du Senegal urged the authorities to increase vigilance, because according to him the system is still present.
He congratulated the Senegalese people for having opted for system change thanks to what he describes as a revolution. For him, the process of this revolution is not yet over because the State must repair the damage of the old regime, particularly in terms of public finances.
According to Ngagne Demba Touré the amount of debt that the State of Senegal must pay has reached the threshold of 11 thousand billion.
