Before this Sunday’s show against Bruges, Sporting has completed the arrival of a reinforcement who will strengthen the core of the fourth in the Jupiler Pro League.
Newly arrived in Anderlecht, Cesar Huerta introduced himself to his new supporters in a video posted on the Brussels club’s social networks. The Mexican winger takes the opportunity to talk about his football, his nickname and his great ambition in Belgium.
“My name is Cesar Huerta. I’m 24 years old and I play as a left winger. Cesar Huerta is a player who disturbs defenses, who dares and who likes to have fun with the ball,” mentioned the Mexican in his presentation.
“For me, taking the step towards Europe at such a big club like Anderlecht is something that I am very proud of and it involves a great responsibility. I feel a lot of happiness and pride,” continued the player.
“I am very happy that my mother is here for such an important milestone in my career. She is the one who helped me realize my dreams when I was a child. And now that I have achieved another dream, she is here with me,” greeted Huerta.
Origins of his nickname “Chino”
“In Mexico, ‘Chino’ refers to hair. That’s what we call people who have curls like me. I would really like our fans and people at the club to continue calling me Chino. Because In the end, everyone already knows me as Chino Huerta,” he explains.
“I am very happy and I also hope to be able to bring a lot of joy. My dream is to become the first Mexican player to win the Belgian championship,” concluded Cesar Huerta, who will be in the stands of his new stadium to watch today’s clash against Bruges.
