Ibou Socé, a Senegalese restaurateur stabbed by a friend

The Senegalese community in Morocco is in mourning. And this death which struck one of their own is so painful that it is two friends who are the unfortunate protagonists of this tragedy which occupies all the discussions in Casablanca.

According to exclusive information obtained by Kéwoulo, Ibou Socé has just been killed by a stab wound to the heart. And his attacker is none other than Moussa Ndiaye, better known as Moussa Kalaamou. If for the moment the origin of their dispute has not been revealed to Kéwoulo, it is said in the Senegalese community of Casablanca that Moussa Ndiaye and friends of his allegedly physically attacked Ibou Socé in his restaurant at Oulfa Azhar district of Casablanca.

The tragedy occurred around 4 p.m. this Saturday. At the time these lines reach you, the victim’s body is in a morgue while Moussa Ndiaye is in the hands of police officers from the Hay Hassani police station in Casablanca.

A repeat offender, Moussa Ndiaye had just been released from prison for reasons that we do not know at the moment. And, with this murder, he will join the citadel of silence for a long stay. If no information on Moussa’s civil life has been brought to our attention, for the deceased Kéwoulo learned that “Ibou Socé is married and father of a daughter.” A native of Pikine, he comes from Biafra, a working-class district of Thiaroye, in the Dakar suburbs. His wife, absent from Moroccan territory, is preparing to return home to try to manage her late husband’s affairs.
