The federal police issued a missing person notice this Saturday for Henri Melin, last seen in Liège in his care center on rue des Haïsses in Chênée.
His name is Henri Melin, he is 80 years old, tall “between 1m70 and 1m80”is of build “normal” and he left his “L’air du temps” care center on foot, located on rue des Haisses in Chênée between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. this Saturday, January 11.
The federal police have issued a wanted notice for this man whose health “requires urgent medical attention”.“He may appear confused and disoriented.”indicate the police in the alert document.
This disappearance is considered all the more worrying as the minimum temperatures were below zero during the night and had not warmed up much during the day. A crisis unit was therefore set up, in which the presence of a team from the missing persons unit of the federal police was required.
The police asked residents, around rue des Haisses in Chênée, to check their gardens, their garden sheds, outbuildings, garages and other places, while the police went door to door to try to find the octogenarian.
We learned at 3:20 p.m. that Henri Melin had been found. “He is conscious and will be examined”we are told.
