Taking advantage of the holding of the National Council of his party, the RNI, on Saturday in Rabat, the head of government Aziz Akhannouch defended the “positive” results obtained by his cabinet during the first three years of his mandate, which began in September 2021.
The progress report stands out for “profound reforms which have placed Morocco in an advanced position, through which we have been able to give our political commitments the expected economic and social dimension, and consolidate their spatial and societal variation”, maintains Mr. Akhannouch in front of his supporters.
The second half of the mandate places at the top of its concerns the strategic priorities for the country, in particular the thorny issue of water, points out the president of the Colombe party.

“We will continue to strengthen infrastructure by completing the construction of 15 large dams, accelerating the pace of the water basin connection program and implementing seawater desalination projects with a view to mobilizing 1.7 billion cubic meters by 2030, for a total cost of 18 billion dirhams,” he explains.
According to the head of the RNI, the year 2025 will be decisive for government policy to reduce the unemployment rate and offer employment opportunities to young people, as part of an integrated approach mobilizing a budgetary envelope of around 14 billion dirhams.
In the partisan update, Mr. Akhannouch announces that the National Rally of Independents intends to launch in the coming months a new communication tour in the different regions of Morocco in the continuity of “its philosophy of proximity with its members and all citizens”.
