In this context, the various services (health, civil protection, national security, royal gendarmerie, auxiliary forces and equipment) have mobilized all of their human and logistical resources to mitigate the effects of the cold on populations, especially in mountainous areas.
The competent services of the province of Ifrane have therefore carried out the identification of the areas affected by the cold wave. These areas, which fall under several local authorities, notably Dayet Aoua, Tizguite, Ain Leuh, Sidi El Mekhfi, Oued Ifrane, Bensmim, Tigrigra and Timahdite, number 49 localities totaling 4,629 households and 21,940 people.
Pregnant women are also concerned through the monitoring of their pregnancy by health services as part of this provincial action plan to combat the cold wave.
Accommodation of homeless people (SDF) is also carried out in close collaboration with the local authority and the provincial delegation of National Assistance at the socio-educational center of Azrou and Dar Talib de Ain. Ugh.
-To ensure the health care of the population concerned, a medical system has been put in place and concerns in particular the mobilization of health structures and medical and paramedical personnel as well as the programming of around twenty medical caravans.
Note that as part of strengthening accessibility to care and improving medical services, a mobile medical unit under the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity has started to provide free care for the benefit of the population living in mountainous areas.
