Christy Clark, the former Liberal premier of British Columbia, has still not officially entered the race for leadership of the Liberal Party of Canada. A few days ago, however, Mélanie Joly, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Dominique Leblanc, Minister of Finance, announced that they would not embark on this race. Sarah Biggs, political organizer and partner at public affairs firm Biggs-Olsen in Calgary, discusses a potential Christy Clark candidacy.
-I expect an application from Christy Clark in the coming days. She started taking French lessons and if you follow her social media in the last few weeks, she has really become involved in the French-speaking world. The government needs stability right now. I’m waiting to see if Steve MacKinnon, Minister of Employment and Workforce Development, will get started
partage Sarah Biggs.
