Launch of the first air link between Rabat and Oujda

Launched Thursday January 9, with the support of the Oriental region, this new connection will allow travelers to reach Oujda from Rabat more quickly and easily, the company indicates in a press release.

The inauguration ceremony, organized at Oujda-Angad airport, was marked by the presence of the Wali of the Oriental region, Governor of the Oujda-Angad prefecture, Khatib El Hebil, the President of Oriental Regional Council, Mohamed Bouarourou, and the General Director of Air Arabia Maroc, Leila Mechbal.

This symbolic moment was followed by a traditional greeting with a jet of water upon the arrival of the inaugural flight in Oujda, highlighting the importance of this new connection for travelers and economic players in the two regions.

This new line, specifies the same source, opens new opportunities for business travelers and tourists, while strengthening economic and cultural links between these two cities.

Rabat, known for its historical heritage and cosmopolitan atmosphere, is a popular destination for business and tourism. Oujda, for its part, seduces with its varied landscapes, its medina and its traditional markets.

This new route, adds Air Arabia, will be operated three times a week, every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, offering ideal flexibility for travelers wishing to travel between these two cities.
