The search against the database of the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) revealed that the suspect, aged 19, is wanted internationally, under a red notice issued by the central office national in Stockholm, for his alleged involvement in the possession of assault weapons for criminal purposes, it is specified.

The suspect was placed in police custody, pending being brought before the competent public prosecutor’s office, indicates the same source, adding that the national central office (Interpol office in Rabat), reporting to the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), was responsible for notifying his counterpart in Sweden of this arrest under the extradition procedure.
