Gironde motorists take on average 31 minutes and 8 seconds to travel 10 kilometers in the city center. They spend an average of 113 hours of their time annually in Belle Endormie traffic, or 4.7 days. The podium in this ranking is completed by Marseille, where Marseille drivers take an average of 27 minutes and 14 seconds to cover 10 kilometers.

Note that a town in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques appears in this top 30 French towns most subject to road traffic. This is Bayonne. The Pyrénées-Atlantiques sub-prefecture is located 28th in terms of the time it takes motorists to travel 10 kilometers (in 13 minutes and 21 seconds, an increase of 10 seconds compared to 2023). On the other hand, it is ranked 15th among the slowest cities in the country in 2024, with a co-management rate of 29%. Basques lose on average 43 hours in traffic, almost the equivalent of two days.
