Three suspicious deaths in a few days in Nova Scotia

Several detachments of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) are investigating a series of suspicious deaths in Nova Scotia.

Three deaths considered suspicious occurred in a few days in different places in the province.

A 42-year-old woman in Bible Hill

First of all on Friday January 3, the agents of the GRC from the county of Colchester went around 9:30 a.m. to a residence on the promenade Bomberhas Bible Hillnear Truro, for perform a wellness checkaccording to a press release.

On site, they found a 42-year-old woman dead and an unconscious man. The latter was transported to hospital.

Two adults at Mahone Bay

Two days later, on Sunday January 5, police officers GRC from the county of Lunenburg also went to a home to check the well-being of two people living on the street Long Hillhas Mahone Bay.

The deaths considered suspicious occurred within a few days in the Truro and Lunenburg area.

At the scene, officers discovered the bodies of two deceased adults. According to a press release, people being known to each other. Police did not specify the ages or gender of the people, but added that they knew each other.

In both cases, the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner’s Office is assisting in the investigation.

According to the GRCthere is no indication that there is any risk to the public following these deaths.
