This is the second violent event involving a sharp object to occur in the metropolis during the day.

Earlier, a 27-year-old man was stabbed in a home on Hutchison Street.

The SPVM public relations officer confirmed that it was indeed a bladed weapon that had been used by the suspect.

The man was photographed bleeding profusely.

He had to be taken to hospital.

Fortunately, we no longer fear for our lives.
