At the trial of “Imad Tintin”, an Algerian influencer accused of violent remarks, the defense pleads “editing” and outburst

Drops of sweat appear on his face, which he wipes away regularly with a wave of his hand. The one who calls himself “Imad Tintin”, or “Bledar de luxe”, on social networks clings to the bar of the Grenoble criminal court, before which he appears, Monday January 6, for “direct provocation to an act of terrorism committed by means of an online public communication service”.

He is not very comfortable, contrary to what he made it appear in videos published these days on social networks and in which he spoke in Arabic, vindictive, with frowning eyebrows. Often subtitled in French, these videos quickly spread on the Internet. Imad Tintin was then arrested on January 3, placed in police custody, then released under judicial supervision while awaiting today's hearing.

The Minister of the Interior, Bruno Retailleau, welcomed this arrest on the social network“vile comments made on TikTok” by Imad Tintin and inviting “don’t let anything pass”. Less than an hour later, the Grenoble public prosecutor, Eric Vaillant, in turn welcomed, by reposting the minister's message, “the rapid intervention of the Grenoble police officers under the direction of the Grenoble public prosecutor’s office”.
