Algerian influencer Imad Tintin finally in prison

Friday evening in Echirolles, near Grenoble, Algerian influencer Imad Tintin, alias “Bledar de luxe”, 31, was arrested after publishing a video, since removed, calling for violence on French territory.

The man would be close to another Algerian influencer, Zazou Youcef, who also published a video on social networks which attracted the attention of the justice system.

Additional information ordered

This Monday, January 6, 2025, Imad Tintin was presented to the courts for immediate appearance after which “the accused requested time to prepare his defense,” indicates the Grenoble public prosecutor, Eric Vaillant.

Additional information was also ordered to hear Zazou Youcef and Chawki Benzehra, an Algerian opponent who had taken refuge in France and who filed a complaint on Friday in Lyon for threats made against him by Imad Tintin.

An assessment of the respondent's telephone was also required.

The influencer placed in pre-trial detention

Consequently, “the court referred the case for a judgment on the merits on March 5, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. and placed the defendant in pre-trial detention until then,” continues Eric Vaillant.
