Since January 6 in the morning, storm Floriane has been sweeping across France, with gusts of up to 120 km/h. Some cyclists dismount. In departments on orange alert, all travel is not recommended, particularly by train, due to the risk of falling trees. As a precaution, the SNCF closed dozens of lines in seven regions of France. At Poitiers station, 90% of trains are canceled. An unpleasant surprise for many travelers whose train ultimately did not serve the planned stations.

Some sometimes found themselves 200 kilometers from their destination, like a woman forced to get off at Angoulême. Traffic should gradually resume after the storm passes from 3 p.m. this Monday, January 6.
