AirPods Pro 3: 4 extremely anticipated new features

The AirPods 4 were announced by Apple during its back-to-school keynote in September 2024 before their marketing a few days later. They come in two versions, the more expensive being equipped with the popular active noise reduction technology. Count 149 euros for the standard version of AirPods 4 and 199 euros for the one with active noise reduction. Unfortunately, consumers who were waiting for AirPods Pro 3 for 2024 still have to be patient. Wireless headphones are expected to arrive this year. Four functions could make it a first choice product.

H3 chip

The AirPods Pro 3 should unsurprisingly feature an H3 chip. The audio quality should be improved as well as active noise reduction technology. We imagine that the autonomy of the AirPods Pro 3 could also increase thanks to this new chip. The H3 should allow Apple to enhance its wireless headphones with new functions for a while as the American company does with the AirPods Pro 2.

Heart rate sensor

Apple has managed to make AirPods Pro 2 a health device. Wireless headphones can be transformed into a hearing aid after assessing the user’s hearing loss through a test. The AirPods Pro 3 would take the same path and would be able to measure heart rate like an Apple Watchaccording to Mark Gurman, renowned Bloomberg journalist.

Body temperature

In addition to measuring heart rate, AirPods Pro 3 could also control your body temperature. A quick and effective way to find out if you have a fever if you don’t have a connected watch on your wrist.

An integrated camera?

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman recently reported that Apple could add cameras on the outside of AirPods Pro 3. They would be used in particular for certain artificial intelligence functionalities and for measuring body temperature.
