The Moroccan capital hosted this Thursday the press conference to present the 18th edition of the Maroc Equestre Trophy. This event, which celebrates each year the best riders and horses in the country, promises to be exceptional with new features that promise to make an impression. Placed under the evocative theme “The Gallop of the Stars… The Rings of Success”, this edition aims to highlight the richness and diversity of Moroccan equestrian disciplines.
This year’s jury, chaired by rider Nadia Doghmi, includes emblematic figures such as Jilali Erguig, Moqaddem of a Tbourida sorba, and Samira Bennani, pioneer of motor sports at the Arab and African level. These personalities insisted on the importance of promoting excellence and innovation in this field. Among the guests of honor, Noor Slaoui, the first Moroccan and Arab rider to have represented the Kingdom during the Olympic Eventing events in Paris, shared her experience and her vision for the future of equestrian sports in Morocco.
Charaf El Bahraoui, Moqaddem victorious in the Grand Prix of HM King Mohammed VI of Tbourida, was also present to recall the importance of the cultural heritage associated with this discipline. The conference made it possible to unveil the selection criteria for the ten competing categories and to present the highlights of the ceremony, scheduled for January 11 in Rabat. This event, which has become an unmissable event on the equestrian calendar, promises to celebrate the excellence, tradition and future of Moroccan horse riding.
