The medicines to be made available to the organizers of the event and the free medical consultations planned will require a budget of 4 million CFA francs, according to Ndèye Nguénar Mbodj.
-The public services involved in the organization of this “ziara” have made a commitment, in the presence of the Minister of the Interior and Public Security, to ensure proper execution of the preparations, as far as they are concerned.
Speaking on behalf of the organizing committee, Ciré Kane welcomed the commitments made by the government. He asked the authorities to further facilitate customs formalities for pilgrims coming from abroad.

Citing Caliph Thierno Bassirou Tall, who is committed to the “social” aspect of the “ziara”, beyond its religious dimension, Mr. Kane insisted on the necessary health coverage of the event.
It is an “opportunity” offered to local populations who wish to benefit from free medical consultations provided by specialists, he said.
Ciré Kane wants a “proper supply” of the local market with everyday consumer goods during the religious event, as well as “strict control” of pharmaceutical and food products sold on this occasion.
