More than 1,700 foreign students are continuing their studies at Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdallah University in Fez for the year 2024-2025.
This contingent of foreign students, particularly from African countries, reflects the openness of the Moroccan university, in particular that of Fez, to the cultures of these countries, according to speakers at the opening Friday of the first edition of the “African Cultural Day” organized by the Higher School of Technology (EST).

For his part, the director of EST, Mohamed Karim affirmed that the event constitutes a significant moment in the cultural and social life of the school, because it reflects a commitment to the values of openness, diversity and sharing. , adding that it is also an opportunity to promote and strengthen links between students from Morocco and those from sub-Saharan African countries, through cultural exchanges.
He noted that EST currently welcomes 68 students from 14 sister African countries, which testifies to the attractiveness of this establishment and the depth of relations between Morocco and its neighbors on the African continent.
