An event to boost women entrepreneurs in Senegal

The first edition of the “Linguères reunion” will take place this Sunday, December 29, 2024, at Jet Café Beach. There will be more than 30 women entrepreneurs exhibiting their products.

According to “DakarActu”, the initiator of the event, Awa Diop known as Linguère, a senior technician in Telecommunications, wishes to implement an exceptional private sale, not to say a fabulous Christmas market, with items such as fine lingerie, organic products, chic clothing, jewelry and accessories, fabrics, local leather goods, among others.

Having noted the difficulties that women entrepreneurs have in selling their products or even making a name for themselves, Ms. Diop is committed to first bringing together successful women and boosting them, so that they can better publicize their products and their brands. But also, create a customer base and new prospects, in order to better sell their goods.

Ms. Diop does not intend to limit herself to this first. His wish is to extend the event, to which entry is free, in the sub-region and even internationally. Thus, she invites all the “Linguères” who wish to take up the challenge. The godmothers of this edition are Keisha Khadija Dème alias Adja nationale and Marième Sida Sarr of Staffing agency, reports the same source.
