Improved hospitalizations, support for families and research
Manche Leukémie continued its actions on three axes. To improve hospital conditions, we financed educational and motor skills materials for an amount of €2,668 at the Rennes South Hospital. Three armchairs, at a cost of €5,761, were provided to Pontchaillou,”
said Pascale Delorme-Hubert, president since 2007. The association made a donation of €1,461 to the Caen University Hospital (screen, speakers, DVD player, sets of DVDs, CDs). At the Caen hematological institute, Manche Leukémie financed the service to the tune of €595 (various supplies). In addition, after a request from the pediatric onco-hematological service in Caen, the association provided support to a family in the Coutances region. Finally, Manche Leucémie paid €7,813 for a research program at the University Hospitals of Caen and Rennes.

What projects for 2025?
The association intends to continue its actions carried out in previous years. We will continue to provide support to patients and families in La Manche, in particular with support from an educational psychologist from Granville, Magali Rozo, to two families from Coutances and Sartilly.
Another action is to improve hospital conditions for patients, support research and promote blood and bone marrow donations. On this subject, consideration is underway to organize an event.
