“The swan song”, a photo exhibition at La gateway

A geographer by training, Andrea Olga Mantovani will exhibit her work collected under the name “The Swan Song” at the Galerie de la Passerelle from Thursday January 9 (opening at 7 p.m.) to Friday March 14.

After working in Europe for six years on environmental and social issues, she decided to devote herself to professional photography in 2015, seeing in the image an essential instrument of testimony. Andrea Olga Mantovani alternates landscape images celebrating the strength and beauty of immutable nature with more allegorical photographs. The “Swan Song” series presents the story of the Białowieża Forest in Poland, the last vestige of virgin lowland forest in Europe, threatened by a deforestation campaign.

Rouge, a jazz club evening at Tempo

The Rouge trio will be at Tempo on Friday January 24 at 8:30 p.m. Surrounded by double bassist Sylvain Didou and Boris Louvet on drums, pianist Madeleine Cazenave takes the audience on a chromatic odyssey. We happily explore their multicolored spectrum, between the classic waves of Satie and Ravel and the warm-cold tones of Tigran Hamasyan, EST or Gogo Penguin. Their first album “Derrière les paupières” evokes a stormy crossing, an aerial and sensitive journey towards an inner enlightenment. With simplicity, the musicians create the conditions for immersion, contemplative and hypnotic, to better draw us into the heart of the gentle Red storm.

Gus back at Quattro

Two years after his success at , the illusionist Gus returns to the stages of Quattro, Thursday January 30 at 8:30 p.m. With his new show, Frosted Gus sees the big picture. Its new, even more spectacular illusions will take the public to the high mountains. Gus keeps the poetic and interactive side that we know of him but this time by pushing the humor cursor even further, with one single objective: to show you that he is completely frosty.
