Metro construction site in : the 2025 agenda

During the night of Wednesday December 11 to Thursday December 12, the tunnel boring machine Jeanne-Marvig carried out “the drilling under a bell” of the wall of the Gare station. Depending on the nature of the terrain, the so-called “under cover” method guarantees the watertightness of the structure. A little over 100 meters of tunnel have been dug since its departure at the beginning of September, or 2% of the section. In total, this tunnel boring machine will dig 4 km of tunnel from the Colomiers-Gare shaft to the Laporte shaft. Next stop: crossing the Lumineuse station in spring 2025.

It is possible to follow the progress and route of each of the 5 tunnel boring machines on line C in real time on the interactive map on the Tisséo site: www.projetsmetro.tisseo.fr/le-projet-ligne-C.

Marie-Hélène Laffont, director of communications and mediation at Tisséo-Ingénierie announces: “a visit to the tunnel boring machine will be organized for local residents at the start of 2025.”

Tisséo-Ingénierie and the Colomiers town hall will organize a public meeting on January 16 at 6:30 p.m. in the Gascogne room to answer questions from Columérins regarding the progress of construction sites on the territory of the municipality.

For any information or questions, it is possible to inquire at the maison du métro rue Gilet (opening hours: Wednesday: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday: 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thematic meetings will resume there in 2025. On proposal from the town hall in partnership with Tisséo, visits will also be offered to schools. To this end, an educational kit is being designed and validated.
