Students' materials were thrown to the ground and computers were smashed with hammers. On the night of Monday December 23 to Tuesday December 24, a primary school in Beauvais (Oise) was completely vandalized, including the classroom aquariums, which were smashed with the fish still inside. Laura Feramus has her daughter educated at this school. She still cannot understand such relentlessness.
10 of the school's 12 classes were ransacked, as was the principal's office. Amid this rampage, the intruders stole nothing. For the mayor (UDI) of Beauvais, Franck Pia, they were there only to attack the school, and this is not the first time: “We regularly find broken windows.” The town hall assures that the school will be able to reopen its doors at the start of the school year and indicates that it has contacted the Minister of Justice.
