N1 Federal – J14 | New success for , ACBB in the Top5!

Enzo de Flaviis, Athletic Club Boulogne-Billancourt.

For the last day of 2025, and the first of the return phase, the formations currently in progress burst into the Top5. With its success against Tremblay, ACBB moved into the top 3 while beat PSG (34-28) to grab 5th place. At the bottom of the table, Vesoul won a very important victory against its direct competitor, , and climbed back into the rankings (25-24). Finally, in shock…..

Who will stop the Boulonnais? Before the holidays, the players of Boulogne-Billancourt won their 4th success in a row against the red lantern Tremblay-en-. In front of their audience, the Hauts-de-Seine players will be heckled for 45 minutes in a meeting where the goalkeepers will be in the spotlight. On the Sequano-Dionysien side, the young international Graciel-Yanis Quere will release 12 parades (2 for his teammate in selection Simon Malpot) while the ACBB wins the duel with 14 parades for Ailley Marignan and 6 for Karl Tshimanga. The latter was particularly decisive at the end of the match to allow the Boulonnais to widen the gap (20-19, 46'; 24-19, 50'). Center half and captain Hugo Le Bail (5/8) can thus lead his team to new success, which allows them to spend the new year in the top5 (27-23). Tremblay side, despite the 7 goals from the right back Yanis Rousseauthe defeat is relentless and leaves them last with 4 points behind the next one.

Lanester confirms its excellent end to 2025

The other team which continues its good dynamic is Lanester. Unbeatable since the November resumption, they offer themselves a 5th success in a row against the 3rd: the young shoots of Saint-Germain. The Morbihannais managed to gain an advantage from the break and stay out of reach throughout the second act (18-13, 30'; 29-22, 49'). As during his greatest successes, the reasons for the good performance of the match can be found in the back base with a Andy Dumitrache untenable (10/13, including 2 pen.), always well supported by Maxime Richeton on the left (8/14) and an excellent goalkeeper on the other side of the field, with 18 saves for Hugo Bonnat. On the other side, the main gunners of PSG remained behind with Thomas Omeyer (7/14), Noa Narcisse (5/8) et Victor Crenn (8/13, including 1 pen.). An undisputed victory for the Bretons (31-27) who move up the rankings, thanks to an exempt Val d'Oise Elite.

Lanester thus remains at the level of also victorious against Saran. The Loirétains had, however, had a simply perfect start, with 3 goals from the right winger Arthur Skorka (7/12, including 3 pen.) in the first 5 minutes (0-5, 5'). The young international Kenissa Triau-Betare will also have played a good game (7/9), just like the goalkeeper Emmanuel Sokeng (16 saves) who did better than their opposing counterparts (13 saves for Gouaze and Quatrevaux), but it was the locals who took the lead at the break (16-13, 30'). The Varois will lead throughout the second act – without ever fully getting out of trouble – and can count on their backs Abdelkader Rahim (5/8) et Lucas Meyffret (8/10) to fuel the brand. The stakes become clearer in money time (25-24, 47'; 28-25, 55') and DVHB wins in front of its own team (31-27).

A gift before Christmas for Vesoul

At the bottom of the table, the good operation came from the side of Vesoul. Having very often come close to a draw, the players of the Vésulie sports circle had not experienced victory since the feat in on the 8th day and wanted to end the year on a good note against their direct competitor: Martigues. However, the Buccho-Rhôdaniens made the trip in poor form, deprived of the Limousin brothers, the team's main gunners. The match will be as tight as one can imagine, and the southern visitors hold their advantage in the last quarter of an hour thanks to numerous saves. Samir Settouti (16, including 12 in the second act). In attack, in the absence of the usual backs, Thomas Cometto takes the opportunity to shine (5/7) as do the backs trained at the club Thomas Polo et He was Louati (5 and 6 goals in 10 shots). But while the Southerners seem to be leading their boat (15-18, 42'; 18-21, 48'), the hammer attack will stall. The Vesulian defense is tightening, Cedric Simonin finishes his monumental match as best as possible (20 saves) and the 22-year-old center-half Matteo Kellner showed himself to be particularly skillful in scoring 3 goals in the final moments, contributing greatly to his team's 4-0 (21-23, 53'; 25-23, 57'). In front of its supporters, CSV held on and won its third success of the season (25-24). We will also salute the performance of the Haut-Saône winger Vincent Vigneltop scorer of the match with 8 goals in 9 shots (including 2 penalties). These three points taken allow the Vésuliens to take back their destiny in hand by catching up with their opponent of the day, widening the distance with Tremblay.

In the first places, the Foxes of Saintes put all their chances on their side before the clash between -Vernouillet and -Rixheim. When receiving the Néo-Aquitains were able to hold on for 60 minutes despite a comeback from the Northerners in the last quarter of an hour (19-13, 34'; 25-25, 51'). The Hazebrouck players were able to believe it until the end thanks to the exceptional performance of their goalkeeper Léo Lamps (20 stops) and an attack with dangers spread across all positions. In experience, however, these will be Tanguy Le Fur (6/11), Lassana Touré (5/7) and others who will emerge with victory (31-28), and a temporary first place in the ranking.

Finally, the long-awaited clash between Dreux-Vernouillet and Mulhouse-Rixheim did not take place, due to roof problems in the Salle des Euréliens. The match will be rescheduled soon. As a reminder, their first opposition, on the first day, gave rise to a first imbroglio with a victory given to the USDV for an error at the scorer's table. The federation has since ruled on the situation as a draw.
