After months of waiting et of reportsthe new Action store in Ifs, near Caen (Calvados) has opened its doors to the delight of its customers. On this Tuesday, December 24, 2024, Christmas Eve, dozens of people came discover the store, located at Cityfs shopping centerand do some shopping last minute.

Regulars and curious people come to discover the store

Some had followed the many twists and turns regarding the opening of the store, others came out of curiosity: “We live 500 meters away, it was an opportunity to come and discover the store. We go several times a month to the Action stores in the city, to anything and everything : gadgets, food products, decoration… It’s much cheaper than elsewhere! », Explains Sabrina and Fred, a couple from IFois, a headlamp in hand.

And when the question of the report quality/price is askedSabrina smiles: “We are not disappointed with the quality, because given the price, we know very well that it will not last long. We are mainly looking for low prices. If it works for a year, it will already be great. »

“Great offer and low prices”

Nicolas, too, wanders through the store with his 10-year-old daughter Sarah. He is looking for a Christmas sweater: “Basically, we came to look for a Christmas sweater. But we often come buy sets or toys from Action. I like the store's offering, there are always original things. The store is bigger than I thought,” he explains.

A very wide offer and low pricesthat's what all customers point to. A mother and her daughter also came to do some shopping: “These are the last little shopping trips before Christmas, but in general, I come mainly for my daughter. » The teenager explains that she comes several times a month to pick up beauty products that she saw on social networks: “They are trendy products and they are not expensive,” she explains.

The morning was calmaccording to the store manager, but customers arrive in greater numbers in the second part of the day.

Months of waiting before opening

Announced for the end of November, then mid-December, the opening of the Action store was postponed several timesdue to “administrative problems” and a “subject concerning works”. This time it was good, the store is open until 5 p.m. and will reopen this Thursday, December 26.
