More snow in the next few hours?

The entire Rhône department remains placed on snow-icy yellow alert until midnight.

The rain-snow limit has also lowered and remains low for a few more hours at the start of Monday.

Thus, “the snow sticks to the ground from 300 to 400 m altitude, or even a little lower depending on the intensity of precipitation, with a layer of 5 to 10 cm falling overnight from 500 m altitude” notes the experts from Météo .

In Lyon, however, it should not snow this Monday according to meteorologists.

Note, finally, that the department of Isère is on orange alert for the risk of avalanches and snow-ice. For its part, Ain is on orange snow-ice alert.
