Students from Saint-Brieuc collected more than 150 toys for the children of Restos du coeur

BTS Communication students at the ITC school in Saint-Brieuc have engaged in a great solidarity initiative: a collection of toys, books and board games for the Les Restos du coeur association, for Christmas . The hope was to collect between 150 and 200 toys, a goal fully met, thanks to the generosity of donors. This entire collection was deposited this Monday, December 23 at the Restos du coeur, 39 rue de Penthièvre, in Saint-Brieuc.

The Restos du coeur volunteers alongside Emma and Margo, BTS Communication students at the ITC school in Saint-Brieuc, came to drop off the collected toys.

“I redid all the puzzles!” »

They carried out this project as part of their studies. “With the help of our teacher, Lucy Embark, we chose our association and managed communication on social networks,” explains Margo. For two weeks, from December 9 to 20, the toys were dropped off at four collection points: at the ITC school, at the Lanvollon and Quessoy football clubs and at the Giant store in Langueux.

The toys were then checked by the students. “I redid all the puzzles one by one,” adds Emma, who feels quite “proud to have done a good deed for children. » Just like Margo, “proud too, we succeeded! We achieved our basic objective. From an academic point of view, it was very enriching, we learned how to approach companies, write press releases, contact and respond in the event of a last minute refusal. This allowed us to strengthen our choice in this professional path. »
