what is prohibited by the prefecture for the end of year celebrations in Clermont-Ferrand

The prefectural decree is clear.

Like every year, state services want to supervise New Year's Eve with security measures and bans.

Thus, from this Monday, December 23 at 8 a.m. and until January 2 at 8 a.m., it will be prohibited in and in 38 municipalities in Puy-de-Dôme to:

– Buy, sell, possess, transport or use fireworks or pyrotechnic articles of category F2 and F3 in public spaces.

A large police force will be deployed in hot spots in the Clermont metropolitan area, in particular to prevent car fires.

The municipalities affected by the prefect's decree are as follows: Ambert, Aubière, Aulnat, Beaumont, Billom, Blanzat, Brassac-les-Mines, Cébazat, Ceyrat, Chabreloche, Chamalières, Châteaugay, Châtel – Guyon, Clermont-Ferrand, Cournon – from Auvergne, Courpière, Durtol, Gerzat, Issoire, La Monnerie- The Montel, Le Cendre, Lempdes, Les Martres – d'Artière, Lezoux, Marsat, Ménétrol, Mozac, Nohanent, Pérignat-lès-Sarliève, Peschadoires, Pont-du-Château, Riom, Romagnat, Royat, Saint-Éloy-les- Mines, Saint-Ferréol-des-Côtes, Saint-Rémy-sur-Durolle, Thiers and Vertaizon.
