Pierre known as “Pierrot” Labat died at the age of 88 on the night of Saturday to Sunday, the day before the round of 32 match between the Girondins de Bordeaux and Rennes (1-4). A figure at the club's scapular training center, he has trained numerous French internationals such as Zinédine Zidane, Bixente Lizarazu, Christophe Dugarry and more recently Aurélien Tchouaméni and Jules Koundé.
