What happened? Missing for two weeks, Antony, 16, was found dead in an undergrowth

Antony had given no sign of life since December 5. In the commune of Voiron, in Isère, the 16-year-old teenager left the family home two weeks ago. His family called for help and organized a hunt on Saturday.

Discovered in an undergrowth

This Saturday, December 21 in the afternoon, the teenager was finally found dead during a citizen search, according to France Blue et The Dolphin.

One of the participants in the hunt discovered the body of the young boy hanging in the undergrowth near his mother's home located in the Montponçon district of Voiron.

The Grenoble public prosecutor, Eric Vaillant, confirmed in the evening that it was indeed Antony's body but did not give further details as to the circumstances of his death.

An unusual silence

On December 5, the young man had an argument with his brother, before leaving the house where they live with their mother. That day, Antony left with only his cell phone on him.

The teenager had already run away before, but this absence did not seem to be his style, said his family. Since his departure on December 5, he had not called his mother once. An unusual silenceindicated those close to him.
