A tragedy took place on Saturday December 21, around 10:30 p.m., in the city center of La Seyne-sur-Mer (Var). A couple was shot in the head in cold blood inside a recently opened grocery store, according to information from BFM Toulon Var.

Targeted execution in the city center

The victims are a 29-year-old man, originally from Marseille, and his partner. The couple, who had just moved to the town, died on the spot from their injuries.

According to a witness living nearby, screams preceded the gunshots. Alerted by the noise, the latter immediately notified the police.

An ongoing investigation

The Toulon judicial police (DCOS) were seized of the investigation. The authorities are actively working to identify and find the perpetrator(s) of this murderous act.
