Bus drivers express their anger in the streets of . Sport

Compared to the usual demonstrations in the city center of (Morbihan), the procession of Kicéo bus drivers could seem very small. But, with 70 employees on the street, the mobilization is far from trivial, especially since of the 136 bus drivers, some are “already gone on vacation, others on sick leave”, notes François Tabourot, CFDT union delegate at Kicéo, who says “very happy with the mobilization”.

Starting from the port, this parade through the streets of the city is a first for Vannes bus drivers. And a way to show themselves and make known their demands and their dissatisfaction with the new delegate operating the Vannes urban bus network: “Transdev almost a year, a year too long”.

“Negotiations will resume”

“We are angry for several reasons and it’s already been 12 months, continues the CFDT representative. We talk a lot about lines, but it's not just lines. Our company agreements are not respected, the collective agreement is not respected, the Labor Code is not respected…”

In total, the drivers have 11 demands and hope to be heard. “There have been small advances. Negotiations will resume Tuesday and Thursday. I asked management to schedule everything for January 6th. »

If negotiations fail, the movement should continue. “The strike notice lasts until July 12,” warns the union delegate, who also asked to be received by Vannes agglomeration. Without success, for the moment.
