Second part today, Saturday, of the 32nd finals of the Coupe de France with the results of the matches at 3:30 p.m. Yesterday, the only representative of Ligue 1, Lille qualified. This time, three Elite teams entered the competition: Brest, Le Havre and Toulouse.
A first Ligue 1 team says goodbye to the competition in the first round, it is Le Havre. Traveling to Saint-Brieuc, Le Havre lost 1-0. The L1 residents conceded in the 80th minute and failed to come back to the score at Stade Briochin, which plays in National 2.
On a trip to La Roche-sur-Yon, National 2 team, Stade Brestois 29 provided the union minimum. Brest won 1-0 thanks to a goal from Ludovic Ajorque in the 40th minute.
As for the TFC, the Toulousains travel to Hauts-Lyonnais, a National 3 team. The Ligue 1 residents were pushed to the penalty shootout after a 0-0 at the end of regulation time. And finally, Toulouse FC qualified for the round of 16 by winning 4 shots on goal to 2.
Note that two Ligue 2 teams have also left. Grenoble and Martigues lost to Cannes and Bourgoin respectively.
