A delegation presented Mr. BECHU, President of the supervisory board, with a petition of 1,000 signatures from hospital workers against job cuts and for the return of ASHs to healthcare services.
” Following a General Assembly on November 21, 2024, and faced with unacceptable comments from Management, the ASHs decided to continue the fight against reorganizations, job cuts and for their return to the care teams. It was then decided to gather on the day of the supervisory board in order to be received by Mr BECHU, President of the Supervisory Board and Mayor of Angers and by Mrs JAGLIN, General Director of the University Hospital.
30 ASH colleagues gathered today, Friday December 20, 2024, to support their delegation accompanied by the FO-SUD-CGT inter-union association. Colleagues from Larrey, HDN, pediatrics and the PTO were received to present their demands as well as a petition signed by nearly 1000 hospital workers!!
1000 hospital workers who support the ASH! 1000 hospital workers who refuse these reorganizations providing for job cuts for the benefit of a private company This reorganization project will not improve working conditions, quite the contrary. For example, the numbers are divided by 2 or 3 during the week and on weekends. Today, only one colleague is stationed at PTO North instead of 5!
Our colleagues don’t give up! Working conditions are so difficult and problems are already multiplying in the already reorganized sectors. Proof that this is not working, the reorganization project was to be deployed on the Larrey building in January, it has now been postponed to the end of 2025!
The demands of the ASH remain the same!!
– maintaining all staff numbers and stopping job cuts
– replacement of all work stoppages and vacant positions
– increase in the pool workforce, up to 10 FTEs
– return of ASHs to care teams and reduction of the scope of intervention
– a number of places for recruitment without competition, i.e. that corresponding to the number of contractual ASHs eligible for them.
A new general meeting will be held in January.”
