A car rolled over several times before hitting trees, yesterday around 11 p.m., on a departmental road in Querrien, in southern Finistère. The firefighters on site were unfortunately unable to resuscitate the sole occupant of the vehicle, who was in cardio-respiratory arrest. The victim, a 52-year-old man, resident of the town, died.
A pedestrian hit on a dual carriageway near Rennes
A 25-year-old man was hit by a car on a dual carriageway, around 8 a.m., near Vignoc, near Rennes. The victim was traveling on foot on the traffic lane. She was taken care of by fourteen firefighters and transported in absolute emergency to Pontchaillou University Hospital.
The Flamanville EPR enters service, “a historic event”
The Flamanville (Manche) EPR nuclear reactor, the most powerful in France, was connected to the national electricity network on Saturday, after 17 years of construction and 12 years late, announced the EDF group. “This is a historic event for the entire French nuclear industry.
