Matam, Dec 21 (APS) – The Matam Sports Union (USM) and Noyau sportif football club Iyane (NSFCI), the two teams from the Matam region involved in National 2, are still looking for a first success in home, after having each signed an away victory.
Author of only one victory since the start of the away season, USM has still not won at home, losing on the second day, 0-3 against ASSUR.
With three points, USM is eighth in Group B and is coming off a big defeat, 0-7 against Diamono de Louga. The team receives Penc de Louga this Saturday, ranked fifth with five points.
NSFCI, the other club involved in this same division is also running behind a first success on its land.
After three days, the Taïba Nguéyène club occupies seventh place with four points, i.e. a victory acquired away, a defeat and a draw conceded at home.
For this fourth day, Nicolas Taimatou's players will challenge, at the Matam regional stadium, Sunday, Ndar Guedj penultimate in group B with a point.
In National 1, Haayo des Agnam has still not won a single match, after three contested days all sanctioned by draws.
On the road, the club from the commune of Agnam will play on Monday against Jolof Olympic Club (JOC), leader of Group B in N1.
