This is one possibility among others that TélésurveillancePlus + allows. An innovation launched in 2024 by Ima Protect, 300 employees, a 100% subsidiary of the Niort-based group Inter Mutuelles Assistance. He is the first remote monitor to do so in France.

“We are bringing automation to what already exists: what we wanted is to simplify people’s daily lives so that they really use this tool and it does not remain a gadget,” explains Jean-Pierre Deleplanque, deputy director. TélésurveillancePlus + allows you to pair your alarm system with connected objects. Power outlets, thermostats, indoor and outdoor cameras. You can adjust your heating remotely, simulate a presence at night, cut certain electrical outlets, trigger a camera. Ima has partnered with two hardware brands well established in the smart home market, Legrand and Neatmo. Next step: Ima Protect tests the system to prevent water loss.

Ima Protect, 110,000 clients, 1.5 million connected objects, processes 800,000 alarms per year. The market is growing. Its two call centers are located in Nantes (Loire-Atlantique) and Angers (Maine-et-Loire). Two bunkers completely independent of each other for security reasons.

With this innovation, the company positions itself at the crossroads of increasingly current concerns. Purchasing power, security, energy savings. In 2022, 211,800 burglaries were recorded in France: an increase of 11%.
