“I had nothing to do with it. I don't steal. » Friday December 20, 2024, a 32-year-old man appeared at the Quimper court (Finistère) for a burglary. He strongly denied being the author.
The burglary dates back to the night of June 26 to 27 in Bénodet. A computer, a speaker, a camera and boat keys were stolen. “These objects were not found” at the defendant’s house, the defense argued.
Confused by his DNA
On site, investigators nevertheless found an open beer. The suspect's DNA was found on the neck of the bottle. The person concerned thinks that an acquaintance tried to trap him.
However, he admitted that at the end of June, he was able to go to the beach in Bénodet. But no longer remembers the exact date. He has not worked since the summer of 2023 and is based at the Quimper municipal social action center.
Ten months in prison
The man, 11 mentions in the record, has already appeared in court in the spring of 2024. A psychiatric assessment revealed “great impulsivity”.
Faced with nine months in prison, the defense pleaded relax.
