Air Saint-Pierre pilots “among the best in the world”?

This Friday, December 20, the French airline manufacturer ATR wanted to mark the 60th anniversary of the company Air Saint-Pierre by devoting a press release to it which highlights the role of this local carrier and the quality of its pilots.

Air Saint-Pierre is celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2024. The opportunity chosen for the manufacturer ATR, which has equipped the carrier for 30 years, to highlight “legacy” of the company through a press release published on its website.

In this obviously flattering press release, the company recalls the essential role that Air Saint-Pierre plays in connecting the archipelago to its neighboring environment. Recalling that beyond passenger transport, the company created in 1964 by Albert Briand also plays a crucial role in the transport of patients as part of medical evacuations, in addition to emphasizing its freight service which is particularly expected in this holiday season.

The most flattering comments, however, are reserved for the pilots who, according to this press release, would be “among the best in the world.”

ATR finally recalls in its press release that since the start of their collaboration in 1994, Air Saint-Pierre is on its third French-made aircraft with the successive purchases of an ATR42-320 in 1994, an ATR42-500 in 2009 then an ATR42-600 in 2020.
