There were still six long minutes to play and Jonathan Andre, with yet another winning shot, once again panicked the scoreboard by surpassing the 100 point mark (102-69 in the 34th minute).^e) ! Suffice to say that it has already been a while since the TMB, determined to rectify the situation after its setback against Toulouse (81-88), had assured its victory, last night, against Rennais dominated in all sectors (114-92 ).

Because it is a real offensive festival, initiated in the first half by a stratospheric Collin Turner (20 pt, 7 interceptions, 5 passes, 0 lost ball and… 30 evaluation at the break!), that the Tourangeaux offered as an early Christmas gift to a very large and festive Monconseil audience.

Note that during this very last outing of the year 2024, the two formations were diminished, with Hugo Béquignon (sprained ankle) and Ethane Bourgade withdrawing from the Touraine side, and Paul Billong and Sekou-Condé on the Rennes side.

Under the impetus, therefore, of a skillful Collin Turner from afar, very aggressive in dribbling and multiplying interceptions, the TMB started the match very strong offensively (20-13, 6^e).

If Rennes' mobility and skill allowed the visitors to also find an opening, the locals would confirm their good momentum at the end of the first quarter. The scenario was almost identical in the second period, except in the first minutes when Rennes played their all, with a lot of speed in attack by Selebangue, and toughness in defense (62-47). But the locals let the storm pass and in turn punished the visitors with the vista of Drouault and Turner, as well as with numerous free throws.

Better, Léon and Minfir, with a new interception, an offensive rebound and a lightning counter-attack, even reduced Breton efforts to nothing at the end of the third quarter (87-60, 30^e).

TMB ends the year in fourth place

From then on, the TMB, which applied itself collectively until the end, would finish without trembling to sign its biggest offensive card of the season, concluding the year in fourth place.
