The project includes the extension of the Sofitel Mogador hotel, the creation of three seaside hotels, a Club Med, a Beach Club, a leisure village, as well as a golf course . In a speech on this occasion, Akhannouch stressed that this project will contribute to establishing Morocco’s position as a leading tourist destination, with regard to the economic and social dynamics that it can generate in the tourism sector, particularly in the city. from Essaouira.
In this regard, he recalled the call of King Mohammed VI to make the Atlantic coast of the Kingdom a space of human communication, economic complementarity and continental and international influence.
Akhannouch also emphasized the interest that the government places in encouraging investments in the tourism sector, as well as in other sectors that contribute to value chains and the creation of employment opportunities, that the government provides investors with a range of tools and mechanisms for the optimal implementation of their projects.
