Since last week, Claudine Charre knows that the choice to continue her professional career as president of the judicial court of Bourgoin-Jailleu is validated by the Superior Council of the Judiciary. The next step will be the publication of the presidential decree in the Official Journal.
President of the Roanne judicial court since 2020, where she will be replaced by Antoine Chabert who practices in the Antilles, she continues her activity as a magistrate in a new department of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes, after having already exercised it in Ardèche and in Drôme.
Claudine Charre will be attached to the Grenoble Court of Appeal
Now attached to the Court of Appeal of Grenoble, she will officiate within an urban area renowned for being a transit area, relatively close to the capital of Dauphiné and the regional prefecture.
In Bourgoin-Jailleu, she will succeed Nathalie Hacquard in the historic premises of the courthouse of this town in the district of La Tour-du-Pin, rehabilitated and enlarged by three years of work.
Claudine Charre leaves with regret “the atmosphere and collective life of the courthouse” of the north of the Loire, of which she believes that the operation could be even more fluid if the detention center de Roanne had a remand center area.
“This would avoid making detainees awaiting trial travel more than 160 kilometers to be brought before a magistrate.”
